Truly speaking, Indian behaviour is like a cross between the American and British. We learn British English but we are more attracted (like everyone else) to the American way of speaking. Our pop idols come from America, you know! :P The 100 year old rule would be expected to leave some mark on the culture, so goes the British influence but obviously we don’t like the pretentious nature of the British. The “thou art” syndrome isn’t really cut out for 21st century. The easy going, devil-may-care attitude and freak out personality of the Americans attracts all of us initially but as we grow up we begin to see the importance of being cultured. But of course not the cheesy, be-formal-even-while-sleeping and then calling it cultured. That doesn’t goes down well with us. Never.
Aw right its getting somewhat prosaic, the point getting stretched a bit too far. So I’m gonna shut the fuck up and go get some rest !
